Star cafe by far has the best scones around. We order extras to have for the following morning during the week for a quick breakfast on the go and to get our "scone fix" for the week. This is by far one of our favourite local cafe's.

I have used this cafe for over 20 years and believe in supporting our local business. the food is always hot and well cooked. had the steak and 2 eggs. the steak is pretty thin so a medium does cook almost like a medium well eggs were perfect and the homemade fries were fresh. Star 2 Egg Omelette and the Three Meats Star Combo Breakfast were well liked by my family

Swiss Cheese Mushroom Burger was so big and yummy shared with my dog. the fries are old fashion and the best. my new go to place now

the Milk Shake (16 oz) was awful. it was full of chunks of ice cubes and had almost no flavor. it was supposed to be blackberry and it had barely a light tint of pink color to it. it tasted like milk over ice cubes. it came with a extra fat straw and the ice chunks were so big they would not go through the straw

Super diappointed! The scrambled egg was raw. The biscuits were awful, and the country fried steak didn't have enough gravy. The country potatoes were cut too big and not seasoned at all. I have never seen this from Star before.
