Im from south Louisiana and to find some place up here selling my comfort food was such a blessing the portions are incredibly generous, collard greens on point, the okra oh my I was in heaven, the fish was little on the thin side but again thats not a complaint just a personal preference, their fin and beak sauce is fire btw, 11/10 will order again y'all keep it up.

Okra 3.5 (I like mine crispier)
Chicken 2.5 (mine was WAY too salty and I'm not a salt snob)... I will try it again
All in all a very solid soul food meal!

I got the 3 piece catfish Fish Meals, and a side of peach cobbler. The baked macaroni was the only thing I felt was bomb. The fish was seasonless. Greens weren't too bad just not my style of flavoring. Cornbread was sweet so that's a plus but the texture was more like a thick doughy cake. Peach Cobbler was just not good in my opinion. Idk what else to say about it, but that's my favorite dessert! Also I didn't receive utensils! This is my 3rd time giving them a try and I had hope it might've gotten better but i just don't see myself ordering from here again sadly.

Sugapeach is fantastic! Specify the catfish in the two peaks (?) sauce. Lemonade is also great. I hope one day they will make their entire menu available (aka order sides ale carte). I respectfully request they redo their chicken batter/marinade. A place this good can remaster their chicken to be insanely good.

This place scores pretty high for my southern standards. Best sweet tea I've had this far north. For my personal tastes I'd like the fish to be a bit more seasoned, however it is still delicious. Mac n' cheese is fantastic. not over peppered, but the right amount. Corn bread is good.
But that sweet tea though.
