The first steamer I tried was the Griswold and have been obsessed ever since. It is all I want to eat now ; followed of course, by a misshaped, home-baked, buttery, heavenly chocolate chip cookie (warm it up and risk immediate and blissful death and ascension). I tried the Pirate once, and it was perfectly good, but I just keep coming back for the Griswold (with Voodoo chips - yum!). I haven't even tried the #1 sandwich yet; largely because I'm not supposed to have eggs, or cheese, or bagels. I would still recommend it because I know it will be great. It will also be soft and moist because it is a STEAMER and has been STEAMED to make it soft and moist and amazing, like a dumpling or a savory, sweet little pillow of smooshy, delicious cloud. If you want a bagel that is toasted and crunchy, I would not recommend a Steamer. I got one once that was over-steamed and on the verge of soggy and I was a little worried, but once I dove in, it was like I just melted into the warm, messy, oozy, wild abandon of it! I am not exaggerating!
Some of your sandwich will arrive attached to your he foil which is used to contain the soft- making moisture. If you're at home, I recommend carefully peeling off the foil if you are dealing with a cheese covered bagel, as some may adhere to the foil. Any cheese or smears/globs of other ingredients can be licked/gnawed off of the foil (be careful not to eat the foil - aluminum should not be ingested). If in store , simply fold your foil up and wrap it in some napkins (they have the kind that are small and one ply, but thick and really tough - I love them!) so you can take it with you and lick/gnaw in the privacy of your own home. In either scenario, you will want to lick the foil- you just will.

unfortunately the food arrived looking like it had been left under a heat lamp for a couple hours and deemed suitable to sell. the sandwiches were wrapped in flimsy aluminium foil that stuck to the surface of the bread, peeling off the top layer (basically all the good stuff from the asiago bread option) and leaving behind sad, damp lumps. the Nacho Maximus was soggy so it didn't even come close to having the much anticipated crunch from the chips as advertised. The Hulk was also stuffed with turkey with only a couple slices of the other meats which was very disappointing. on the bright side, the flavour was good, but underwhelming in light of the subpar presentation and overall quality. hopefully they will start preparing food fresh to order and find a different packaging material as what they are using now is more trouble and mess than it's worth

Bagel is extremely soft and tender. Cheese melted perfectly. Bacon is chewy which I prefer. 5 stars on the Breakfast Bagel. Sweet tea is a bit sweet though, half sweet half unsweetened would be a nice option in the future.

This place is AMAZING, hear me out on the three stars. I get that it's a thing but I cannot get past the whole steamed sandwich concept. All I can think the whole time I'm eating was this would be SO amazing if the bagel was toasted. I'm sorry but soggy is never good but I did give it an honest try. The meat was delicious and seasoned well and the sauerkraut was not doing too much. HOWEVER, the wrapper is foil and it stuck to the cheese and peeled off into the sandwich itself which was really unpleasant. Maybe wrap it in something other than foil. But honestly it was DELICIOUS. If you want your bread to be wet and your sandwich to be delicious, this is definitely the place for you. Not going to lie. I'm going to order again. It's honestly really really good I'm just so conflicted about the soggy bread. Also the price is very fair considering the amount of meat they put on it.

I really enjoyed the Build Your Own bagel. I got chicken salad on an Asiago bagel and the best part was the bagel no doubt. It was a very generous portion. Want to try a different kind next time, maybe pizza or the cream cheese.
