Ackee and Salfish is good and great value with the peanut porridge. The portion size looked very small since the container is bigger . Once plated it was a good portion. I spoke with the rest owner and suggested they add the ackee amount listed in the description or offer size options to add one to our meals. Hopefully container sizes that do not look like half portions.

For $21 it was one of the worst meals I've ever ordered. Rice was dry, they put about five little oxtails, a tablespoon of cabbage and I asked for hot sauce and they have me a teaspoon of weak hot sauce. No gravy and the coleslaw was old and sweet. Really wouldn't recommend this place. Scotty bons is delicious and gives you a good portion for your money. I regret ever ordering from here

The peanut porridge was great and the akee and salt fish could have been made with a little more fish I'm sorry I honestly really feel as though the fish was disproportionate compared to the amount of akee and other fixings in my serving and last but least the fried plantain was so bad I couldn't even eat it, it looked dehydrated and had a texture like a sponge in the middle and rubber on the ends it did not taste very good and this all disappointed me after I always have nothing but all good things to say when I order this from you guys this is unusual

The reason why I am leaving this review is to warn others that love and enjoy eating Festivals as this will be my first and very last time purchasing from Sunrise.
This review is based on the quality of the product.
THIS IS NOT FESTIVAL. THIS IS MADE OUT OF FLOUR, BAKING POWDER AND SALT THAT GETS FRIED IN OIL.
As a Jamaican restaurant you should know better than to take the cheap route when servicing customers especially when the restaurant claims to be authentic Jamaican food.
FESTIVALS is made WITH FOLLOWING PACKED GRACE PRODUCT THAT IS IN THE PHOTO.
I am disappointed and dissatisfied as I spent $22+ on 7 festivals for them to taste nasty. I will never buy this again from this restaurant. Please do not waste your money.
