The sushi was amazing at an affordable price. Everything came out great except for the Spicy Cucumber Salad which could have been a lot more flavorful it was extremely bland. Would definitely recommend ordering your sushi from Kroger if you don't want to spend $200 eating an ungodly amount of sushi, they have a wide selection and the quality is about the same as shogun. It's nowhere near as good as Whole Foods' but you'll enjoy it. Better than most of these hole in the wall sushi joints in town. Only spent $60 for 6 rolls, 3 salads, and an order of Loaded Dumplings - Pork.

The fish on the Nigiri & Mini Roll (Hosomaki) Combo was cut extremely thin. Let me emphasize the EXTREMELY thin.
I understand they need to make a profit, and I'm not expecting a thick cut, but I dare say it was paperclip thin. I had it for 50% off. i wouldn't buy it again.

First time ordered from here the sushi was good or maybe i was just very hungry and craving sushi that time . This is my second time ordering and this time it just tastes weird. The rice taste very mushy and the actual flavor from the sushi only comes from the sauce. It is literally drenched in sauce and is all you can taste barely any actual "meat" in my sushi. I tried to be generous and not doubt the sushi because after all this is grocery store sushi but sadly this time around I cannot let it pass. Still two star is being generous.
