“When Sushi Rolls Go Missing in Flavor”
I was ready for a flavor-packed sushi night but, alas, my recent order left much to be desired. My lineup included a rainbow roll, a Christmas roll, an Alaska roll, and a spicy tuna roll. Each promised a unique experience, but somehow, every roll seemed to have lost its ticket to Freshnessville. The fish itself looked pale, as if it had seen too much Netflix and too little of the ocean. The rolls tasted as if they’d been prepped in black-and-white—no excitement, no pop, just beige all the way through.
And then, the house salad. Imagine my joy when I opened the container to find a single iceberg leaf, torn—dare I say butchered—into a shape that vaguely fit the plastic container. I can only assume this was meant to be the avant-garde, minimalist salad of my dreams. Mission not accomplished.
The real star was the miso soup, which actually had a flavor profile! But as the sole highlight, it had a lot of weight on its broth-y shoulders.
To their credit, the restaurant did nail the “accessories.” I got all the utensils, and they even honored my request for extra soy sauce containers (of which I would need several, just to feel anything on my taste buds). However, despite the stellar accessory service, we couldn’t bring ourselves to finish the food.

The portions are insane for what you pay. what a waste of money. Should've just spent the extra few bucks and went to Inaka. The 60. Volcano Roll was easily the worst offender
