This place can be hit or miss. My negi toro roll was not negi toro. Ive ordered it many times and it's normally red like tuna. I dont know if this was a different fish or if the mix was old so I wasnt able to make myself eat it. Two rolls wasted. I've also had the broiled fish cheek many times but tonight it was burnt and had a bitter taste. Couldn't eat it. It was my first time having a bipimbap bowl and something in it was so bitter I couldn't eat it. Based on the fish cheek id say the beef inside was burnt. In adition the egg on top had uncooked white. The salmon chirashi was great and so were the Jessica rolls but tonight we wasted alot of food and alot of money.

We've been going to the restaurant for lunch and believe it's the best sushi in the area. As someone who's been a sushi fan for 40 years, have been impressed. The sushi is fresh and we've been served great, flavorful cuts of sushi. Though we live in Anacortes, the drive into Oak Harbor isnt far and definitely worth it.
