The chicken and broccoli was delicious. The broccoli wasn't over done and nice and crunchy. The flavor was on point. We also ordered the fried wontons. Definitely hit the spot. You get a lot of food for your money.

Food was fresh, and rich in flavor! Chicken wasn't dry, and also had the perfect amount of breading. Pork Fried Rice was phenomenal, and they absolutely do not skimp out on portion size. Highly Recommend!

Szechuan Express has been my favorite Chinese restaurant in Pittsburgh since I started law school here in 2004. The Chicken Noodle Soup is such a versatile dish - for when it's cold out, when yoire feeling under the weather, or when you just want to curl up on the couch with a blanket and watch a movie. The Chicken with Broccoli has been my go-to entree since 2004. Amazing sauce, lots of chicken and fresh broccoli.

I have been going to all the wrong places for American Chinese. Chef Jason is very knowledgeable and took a minute to talk to me. The attention to detail in the food is BANANAS on point. Everything is fresh and the egg rolls didn't have that weird fried taste (using clean oil matters). His schezwan sauce beats the pants off anything we have had in San Fran. Bye-bye other Pittsburgh Chinese restaurants! We didn't like the food, we LOVED the food. New go-to!

The duck tasted horrible. I know that duck is a greasier meat but it took away from the "roasted" part. There were more bones than meat on the pieces of duck as well. The lo mein was great. Not worth the money IMO.
