El Primo Rafa is absolutely excellent! I can't say enough good things about the food. Every meat is amazing, my personal favorites are the al pastor and Pollo asada. They are *consistently* the best Mexican spot I know of. You can tell with every single bite, that every single ingredient is as fresh as possible, and it just makes everything so much more flavorful than anywhere else I've been. I mean literally *everything* is insanely fresh, from the meat to the beans to the veggies and fruits to the tortillas and even the cilantro and other spices, every single thing is so incredibly fresh, and I notice it EVERY time I order. Like I said before, this is consistently my favorite place, and I live along the "taco trail" in concord. I've recommended this place to MANY people. Almost any time the topic of Mexican food comes up, I have to mention El Primo Rafa.
Oh, and their salsas are also just the best!

Our orders are always big and they provide almost no sauce. Thats why i rate 3 stars, every time its worse on the sauce. 4 sauces is not enough for 15 tacos, 4 Vampiros y 2 quesabirrias for 6 people, needs improvement on that.
