Taj Palace is the best Indian around. The only butter chicken I like, all dishes are spot on and the best flavours. Just a shame it always takes such a long time, estimated times are inaccurate, they're always much later. So order earlier, as the foods worth the wait!

Good meal size.quite filling. Full of flavour. Best butter chicken ive had in the Hobart area. Highly recommend! Pricing is reasonable considering the meal comes with the rice.

The food was disappointing for the price, the chicken was not great and I can't even think of the words for how bad the bread was.

The biriyani we had from this restaurant might be the worst biriyani that we had in our entire life. I think the rice was made with sea water. That much salty it was. Also I believe the chef might not have heard about basmati rice in his life. He Just made the biriyani with Jasmin rice. Simply saying... just spoiled our Easter.

Banjara gosht was fantastic, flavourful, thick and rich the Rogan josh was abysmal and I imagine that's what dog food tastes like. the naan was fantastic and the pakora and bahji didn't travel well the batter was soggy but the flavour was good. Also my order was repeatedly delayed, so their timing is pretty bad, they always take ages.
