The chicken tamales were very dry. Pretty sure they forgot to rinse the soap from some of their dishes because the rice and Mexican corn had a very strong soap taste to them. We normally love this place but today it was unfortunately not so good.

We usually love Tamales, but man they just cannot get it together with delivery orders. Every time we order from them (which is usually months apart) something or multiple things are missing or incorrect. If we get the Street Queso Dip with Chips we either only receive the chips or the queso but never both in the same order. We ordered Street Steak Tacos-2 which should come with onion cilantro. I paid extra to add cheese and got steak tacos with only cheese. We ordered the Roasted Corn Chowder (Bowl) and received the cup size which has happened previously as well. If they can literally just pay attention to the specifications of the orders (esp with the prices of some items) , things would be near perfect. Please, Tamales, I just want to love you again but you make it so hard!

Not as authentic as I expected. The tamales were a little dry and usually when you get chicken tamales they use a green sauce while this restaurant used a red sauce. The beans were good but the rice seemed a bit weird, kind of reminded me of instant rice. The carnitas burrito was also a little weird, usually you get rice and beans in a burrito but mine did not have any and it did have the red sauce which i did not expect at all. They should use this meat combo to make some pork tamales instead which was not in the menu. Overall not as authentic or traditional as I expected.
