Cornbread Pancakes sounded like a good treat as something I make from time to time myself. Presentation looked great but upon first bite the corn-cakes were doughy and remarkably bland. I cannot stress enough how little flavor they had, actually baffling. I don't mean "they're not filled with sugar and other additives," I mean despite having corn kernels in the pancakes, the corn flavor does not come through at all, again with the doughiness factor it mostly just tastes like unsweetened raw batter/dough. Unoffensive I guess, but disappointing. Not worth the price or even the time saved not making them myself, I regret not just going to the store for ingredients.
