This Thai is absolutely amazing and one of our favorites in RVA. We always get red R23. Panang Curry and the N2. Drunken Noodle both extra chicken. I will say the amount of rice they give with the R23. Panang Curry is a joke. The whole point of curry is to have the curry flavor soak the rice. Please, Thai Diner, consider giving adult-size portions of rice with the price of the meal.

The Thai App1. Thai Curry Puff is just awesome! The pastry is so flaky and the insides are a wonderful meld of mild curry yumminess. The N5. Pad Woonsen is always delicious. I usually get chicken but decided on shrimp which was cooked perfectly. The R24. Massaman Curry was wonderful. Just great food all around.

EVERYTHING I've ordered from Thai Diner is the ABSOLUTE BEST! The N2 Drunken Noodle; no other restaurant can match it but Thai Diner Too also is delicious. Spicy noodle soup, EXCELLENT. Even their Chicken fried rice is sooooooo good, it's different from any other you've had (has a hint of sweet to it too).

Excellent food! The N1. Pad Thai was delicous and huge portion! And A5. Fried Wonton (6) were so light and crispy, some of the best I have had!

Ordered Thai hot red curry from 3 different local restaurants and this was the only one that made me sweat. May try Thai Extra Hot next time. I appreciate that they accommodated my special requests and the upcharge for adding pineapple was well within reason. Minor complaints: A little heavyhanded on the fish sauce, but that's a personal preference; Tofu was slightly less dense and a tiny bit blander than the other restaurants I tried; And I would have preferred a bit more sauce in relation to the amount of tofu. I'm just really picky, though. Overall it was a solid 4 stars and would be happy to dine there again!
