From the moment we took the lid off the Thai Fried Rice, we knew it was not going to be for us. The odor of fish sauce was overwhelming. Had we known that would be the predominant flavor of the dish, we'd never have ordered it. Have had a lot of Thai Fried Rice in the past and never had a fishy one before, especially considering we order it with tofu. The very good rating is for past orders from Thai Pop. The Thai Fried Rice was a 1 Star at best. The tofu was well prepared and not at all oily, the rice was not oily, the portion was generous, there were very few vegetables (only two broccoli spears)-unusual for Thai Pop-so it was essentially a large dish of very fishy white rice with a little good tofu and a couple of veggies. Not up to Thai Pop standards.

Food was marginal but not horrible. The coconut shrimp was not good. It had no coconut taste. Had yellow curry and it was spicier than normal yellow curry and the basil stir fry was half full of mushrooms which I cannot eat and forgot to mention. Very little chicken in both dishes.

Well it didnt come with rice, we ordered the stir fry basil. I would have paid for it as a side if Id known. Also was pretty bland, the pad Thai was greasy too. The best part was the sauce for the potstickers, otherwise meh. The salad rolls were falling apart... just not good.

Pad Thai was good but a little too sweet for my taste. Needs more spice as well. It would be nice if they had an option to select the spice level.
