I love their Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brulee Milk! I usually decide between Da Boba or The Alley, and I think I frequent The Alley more often. The Ube Taro Brown Sugar Deerioca Milk was not to my liking. Flavor is good but the texture of the taro paste kind of ruined it for me. Maybe mixing it throughly would have helped!

The San Diego location is so bad, quality has declined since their grand opening. I went in person last week, and ordered on doordash today and they're preparing drinks in Christmas paper cups... it's nearly April. It also is weird to drink milk tea from an opaque cup.
We ordered 3 drinks Ube Taro Brown Sugar Deerioca Milk(w/ Ube, Brown Sugar Boba & Taro) and it arrived warm, water down, and had a grainy/sand like texture from the taro or brown sugar. It was terrible. Were spoiled with good boba in convoy, and Alley ain't it.

I ordered two different drinks on doordash, they came in all sealed but unfortunately they're now using these paper cups and you don't really know which one is which, since they are not labeled and the cups aren't clear. I was very confused.
