The FRIED CHICKEN BLT is hands down the best sandwich I have ever had, period. You may need to prepare yourself before tackling it, though---halfway through, I had to take a break and come back later.
The chicken is perfectly breaded and evokes the memory of my mom's homemade fried chicken. The bacon is crispy and flavorful, excellent lettuce and tomato. The toasted bread (reminded me of 16 bricks if it wasn't actually) brought the whole thing together. I've known of the Eagle for sometime, and I now regret having waited so long to experience its amazing fare.

I ordered the Kids Combo Meal with wings and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was delicious! The noodles were cooked well (they weren't mushy) and the sauce was creamy. The wings were decent. They were well seasoned but not as crispy as I would've liked. The French Fries were mush fantastic! They were seasoned well, still a bit crispy when they arrived and great portion size!

The Homemade Biscuits with honey butter and jam are absolutely divine. The Carolina Braised Pork Sandwich was very good, and the Fried Chicken Sandwich was also excellent! Nice portions of everything. I got the slaw on the side of my sandwich and was suprised by what a big portion they included! A bit pricey but it's quality Southern comfort food.

Disappointing for what you pay . We used love this place and were regular customers but the last few times the food quality has went down hill and the portions are smaller. The Mac and cheese used to be my favorite but the last few orders were either dry or the noodles were undercooked and the same quality just wasn't there. So we didn't order for awhile and yesterday we decided to give it another shot but we were disappointed again. This time the chicken sandwich was much smaller and it was just a plain small chicken patty on a bun with no cole slaw or pickles. Burger King would've been much better for the price. Unfortunately we will not be ordering from here any more. :-(

This isnt the first time I had them, some wonderful bouncer pointed us their way when every other bar restaurant was closed on a Saturday. Hands down best WHOLE CHICKEN ever! And the price is well worth it. I will always order this and anytime family comes in I take them down. A-freaking-mazing
