• DoorDash orderI ordered close to closing, so I'd have understood if the food was subpar, but it absolutely wasn't. The Poutine was the most flavorful and satisfying meatless poutine I've ever had. Everything in the Fry-Yay was crisp and delicious. The Prime Rib Sandwich was least exciting but still really tasty. I'm sad I'm only visiting and can't have this place more often!

• DoorDash orderPrime Rib Sandwich with the Gruyère cheese and Au Jus was SO fresh, juicy, and flavorful - even for late-night delivery!
Poutine was a pretty good side with garlic/parsley fries and gooey, melted cheese curds. The mushroom gravy was the part that didn't "wow" me. Didn't taste bad - but was just missing something to give the flavor an extra "oomph".

• DoorDash orderThe Chicken Caesar Wrap taste okay but it's extremely dry. It doesn't have much dressing in it. Other local places have a better one. I don't recommend. The sweet potato fries were also very very soft. Not very enjoyable.

• DoorDash reviewThe beet salad never fails!!! It is the BEST salad I've EVER had. The steak is always cooked to perfection and the vinaigrette dressing is superb! I happily come to Durham to dog sit because of you guys, The Federal! We need one in Wilmington!! Order this salad, you won't be disappointed!!

• DoorDash orderEvery time I come to Durham to dog sit I order the beet salad with steak. It NEVER fails. Best salad I've ever had. The steak is always cooked to perfection and the vinaigrette dressing is lovely! I wish we had "The Federal" in Wilmington!!!!
