I've had the Shrimp & Grits a few times now and it always tastes the same, AMAZING and FRESH. The tomato based sauce for the Shrimp & Grits is packed with flavor and has a kick. Might be the best in LA!!

The waffle sometimes is hit or miss but the chicken is always extra crispy and flavorful, that's how they keep me going back. The chicken and waffles dish includes a seemingly home-made hot sauce, maple syrup, and a lovey honey butter. They're worth it!

Omg the Shrimp and Grits are absolutely divine and the beignets are some of the best I've had period. And I lived in New Orleans for a while. Buttery, doughy, yet lightweight with a ton of powered sugar <3 and packaged well :)

I was expecting better quality based on reviews & recommendations.
The Beignet Trio was tasty, the Iced Mint Sweet Tea was OK, but the pork poutine was very disappointing.
The Pork Poutine was *WAY* too salty (and I have a salt tooth), the fries were cold, the pulled pork was minced beyond recognition, and the larger bits of pork were tough & dry.
I ended up throwing the Pork Poutine away.
Overall pretty underwhelming food -- It's unfortunate to spend so much on a meal and still be hungry / dissatisfied afterwards.
