• DoorDash orderWooow, so glad i decided to finally try this place. The Candied Pistachio & White Chocolate donut was SOOOO good, along with the Oreo Cake Donut Holes (Half Dozen) donut holes. Cant wait to try more, the Cinnamon Cereal Milk Latte was also one of the best I've had in Austin. 10/10

• DoorDash orderThoroughly impressed!!! Donuts are huge and they just taste uniquely delicious. They are absolutely different than any other donut you've ever had in the best ways. The Brown Butter and Salt is sooo interesting - it's like a glazed donut but better with this perfect salty endnote. The glazed donut is also perfect - dense, sweet, well balanced. The horchata donut is good, the dulce de leche churro is lovely. Salted Caramel Latte is great also! I never thought I would love donuts this much but it's clear the creativity, attention to detail, and value put into crafting them. Ive also never seen my boyfriend get so excited about donuts before!! I will make sure everyone I know knows about The Salty Donut, yall are just awesome!!

• DoorDash order10/10 on everything! I'm super picky about my coffee too. i just moved to the area and I'm pretty sure this is my new coffee go to. the kolache was amazing! the pop tart...omg! And the donut? phenomenal! Brown Sugar Dirty Chai Jalapeño Sausage & Cheese Kolache Buttered Pecan Pop Tart

The matcha lemonade was refreshing, with a bright, zesty kick that almost justified its steep price. Unfortunately, the cup not being completely full left me disappointed before I even took a sip.
The brisket kolache? A letdown. While the tender, smoky-sweet brisket gave a nod to quality Texas barbecue, the portion was underwhelming, and the cheese was practically nonexistent—nothing to write home about.
Now, the real star: the brown butter and salt doughnut. Hands down, the best doughnut I’ve ever had. Thick but impossibly fluffy, with perfectly crisp edges, it delivered a rich, buttery glaze that tasted like the most indulgent pancake you could dream of. Sweet, salty, and utterly phenomenal.
Overall, this place is more about the “Austin experience” than great value. But if you visit, don’t miss that doughnut—it’s worth every penny.
