What screams “American brasserie” more than a little gem Caesar, shrimp cocktail, and filet mignon? It’s not a trick question — it’s The Smith in a nutshell. The restaurant has gained a huge fan base …
NY Strip was small for the $49 price tag, but tasty. Fries don't carry well. website does not allow substitutions. We order add sides just in case. We may be too far from the restaurant because food needed to be warmed, but overall very good. Will order again.

I WANT MY MONEY AND TIME BACK!!
Awful, disappointing experience. The Smith Burger was NOT cooked as requested: One burger completely overcooked, the other came with ingredients that we asked to be excluded. The beef quality was very poor, especially for a $24 burger - it tastes like processed fast-food. The Smith also took FOREVER to complete the bad order - almost 2 hours!

The portion size for the Rigatoni Alla Vodka pasta was pretty small, and it was also really dry. Barely any sauce at all. The side dishes were worth the money in regard to sides and taste. I would likely order again, but not any pasta. Also didn't include any utensils.

I order from the Smith in New York all the time. This meal was not up to par with what I get there. The salmon dish didn't come with the potatoes mentioned on the menu. It had the sorriest little piece of salmon I've ever seen. Maybe 3 ounces at best. It was all sitting in a pool of straight vinegar. The heirloom tomatoes were mealy and tough. That dish is supposed to have stracciatella and a balsamic drizzle. It had neither. I paid $15 for a few slices of tomato and basil. Overall, a terrible value for $50.

The Ricotta Gnocchio was horrible! Other food was ok but this dish tasted like it was drowned in truffle oil (and I love truffle!) and heavy cream/butter. Couldn't eat more than two bites. Also we're more like weird burnt dumplings than gnocchi.
