Inspired by the taco stands of Tijuana and many adventures along the Baja Peninsula, Showa Hospitality needed an authentic taco stand experience to satisfy our cravings north of the border.
Title: Disappointing, Bland, and Consistently Incomplete
If I could give zero stars, I would. This restaurant is a masterclass in how to fail at every level of the dining experience, especially with delivery orders. Not once, not twice, but every single time I’ve ordered, items have been missing. How hard is it to double-check an order? It’s not rocket science—just basic competence, which this establishment clearly lacks.
As for the food itself, calling it uninspired would be generous. Everything is smothered in guacamole, not because it’s good but because it’s trying (and failing) to mask the utter lack of flavor or spice in anything else. The seasoning is non-existent, the ingredients taste like they’ve given up on life, and the dishes are as bland as a soggy piece of bread. Even the guac, their apparent crutch, is mediocre at best.
It’s baffling how a place that charges this much can get away with serving food that feels like it was thrown together by someone who’s never heard of salt, pepper, or effort. Save yourself the frustration and order from literally anywhere else. This place is an overpriced, flavorless disaster.

CARNE ASADA TACO was ok. The corn tortilla was excellent! Tasted homemade. CHURROS were undercooking still doughy in the center. Really bummed that you have to pay for the SALSA CILANTRO and SALSA VERDE and it was not in the bag. CORN ON THE COB was good. PESCADO TACO (MAHI MAHI) & BAJA TACO was ok. Probably will not order from here again next time we come to town.

Usually the PESCADO BURRITO is great. Today was alright. The place is always a bit filthy.

The tacos were amazing as usual! the issue was getting charged 0.25c for free salsa and $2 for one tablespoon of guacamole! that's just crazy to me
