New local family owned restaurant. Calabash Chicken was really good. The brown gravy is nice and went well with either the rice or mashed potatoes. Banana Split is great and worth the price for a nice treat. 3 scoops ice cream, chocolate syrup, banana, pineapple, and strawberry on it with whipped cream.

Chicken livers and grilled onions to die for, absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared! Great brown gravy! Good cheeseburger and chicken sandwich. I would probably pass on the mashed potatoes next time. Thankful to have found this diner and will be a repeat customer!

The livers themselves were good. The ones with onions were perfect. The ones with brown gravy, I couldn't tell you because they didn't exist. I received two with onions and none with brown gravy. That's very odd because Thomas usually does not make that type of an error. What I really wanted was onion and brown gravy but it seems like someone has redesigned their doordash page and that isn't an option any longer. My expectation was to order one of each and mix them together. So I was really disappointed on both fronts. Just not a normal order at all from Thomas. They are normally five stars.

2pc Calabash Chicken the chicken was very strange and batter wasnt cooked through. Very slimy chicken batter and you can tell the batter has been fried in older oil. The fries werent fully cooked and extremely mushy. The burger had plenty of mustard and ketchup but the patty was thick and chewy with large chunks of meat. Sprite was good. Mac and cheese was straight though.

I purchased the meat and 3 sides, I chose the fried chicken,mashed potatoes with brown gravy, green beans, mac n cheese. The best food in town in my opinion, I also tried the butterfinger cheesecake, absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend.
