The Tri-tip sandwich lunch special is a very good value. The meat is very tender and well seasoned The sides of potato salad and macaroni salad are good and the portions are generous.

This place is the best value for barbecue in The Conejo Valley. I wasn't crazy about their ribs, but the pulled pork is so good! There's nothing fancy about this place, but the coleslaw is homemade, and it's fresh it's not loaded with sugar. It's just simple and fairly healthy! It is our go-to when we just want a simple barbecue sandwich with some tasty sides. if you go to the restaurant they can be a little grouchy, but it's almost like when you go to New York and get a slice at your favorite place they're grouchy but their service is good and thorough and their food is good.

Great tri-tip sandwich. Our go to for the past 30 plus years. Haven't found anything elsewhere that compares to them in price and taste. Hands down best bbq around.

If you're a meat lover this is the best deal in town. The competition charges twice for the same thing that you get here. I've probably ordered from her 15 times. never had a disaster. Never didn't get enough meat. I can tell by the attention that they pay to portion size that they're in this for the long run. This isn't a get rich gimmick situation. This is a business that puts pride in their work and genuinely wants satisfied customers. I have absolutely no fear of not being completely satisfied with the money that I spend here. Although I've never had a problem. I can only imagine if I did it would be taken care of immediately. With prices as low as they are compared to the competition. This business obviously does not put profit first. But repeat business and customer satisfaction. which is what you need in the long run. I know I've run businesses myself.

The stuff is pretty good. It's just what you would expect from bbq ribs. Good serving of meat, potato salad and beans. No crazy tasting new flavor. Just stick to your ribs home style bbq. At a very good price.
