For example, when a bouncer says, “I don’t need to explain myself,” it communicates arrogance and disrespect. This creates a negative experience for patrons and undermines the welcoming atmosphere the bar strives for. If a bouncer cannot engage respectfully with customers, they are unsuited for a role that involves direct interaction with the public.
