Genuinely, that was the best piece of fish I've ever received from any chippy. Cooked perfectly so it melted in my mouth, as well as the batter being 10/10. Moving to the city I was upset that I couldn't get a good piece of fish, now this will be the only place I go to. If I could go higher than 5 I would.

FANTASTIC CALAMARI, AS ALWAYS. AND THE BEST POTATO SCALLOPS EVER !!! It's so good that you make your own (or so I'm guessing). The factory-made ones are normally bloody awful and usually inedible. SO: THANK-YOU AGAIN FOR SUCH GREAT FOOD.

Calamari was actually very good, BUT 2 pieces short.
The Cod was half the size of the Cod from the fish and chip shop just 2 blocks away. And honestly far too expensive, even if it had been a decent size. Further, I'm in my 60's and this is the first time in my life that anyone ad the temerity to charge extra for crumbed as opposed to battered. very disappointing all round.
