Frank X. Tolbert's lifelong love of chili prompted him to write "A Bowl of Red," his world-famous cookbook, 50 years ago. In 1967, he launched the Terlingua Championship Chili Cook-Off, and in 1976, h…
My lunch arrived right on time, and I was so pleasantly surprised;it was absolutely delicious.
The chips were light and airy and still warm. I could not have asked for a Tayser taco salad. Definitely enough for two meals, which makes me happy.
I bought a gallon of the chili and divided it into eight glass Pyrex storage containers. I topped each container with sharp cheddar cheese and chopped onion provided with my meal. I plan on freezing the chili and eating it whenever I feel like it the last time I made chili it was a lot more expensive than what I paid today. And, certainly not as delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. Their food is so delicious I could not have asked for more.

The beans were added to the Chili like I asked, delicious Frank's Frito Pie. Cream of Jalapeno terrific! Beans & coleslaw were great. Thank you!

The food is inconsistent in my experience. I ordered the steak finger basket last week and the steak fingers were large and tender and came with a large portion of fries. This time rhe steak fingers were small and tough and seemed burnt on the ends and undercooked at the same time.

This chili is awesome! Just the right heat and the 5 Jalapeño Corn Bread Muffins were so moist and delicious!
Love it!

Frank's Frito Pie was tasty, but I think it would've been better had I eaten at the restaurant. There weren't enough Fritos or cheese. The Chocolate Mousse Cake was lackluster at best. It tasted "old" as if it had been sitting sliced up iand uncovered n the refrigerator. It was also a cake like you can get at Costco. Calling it Chocolate Mousse Cake is a misnomer as there wasn't any mousse to be found. A weird textured vanilla custard was in the middle of the layers that were frosted with a gooey chocolate spread. Definitely not worth $7.99.
