Unfortunately I was disappointed with my pizza puff, it was so soggy like it had been cooked a few times & it was stuck to the paper bag they put it in.
The cheese fries were so salty they made us cough to the point we said toss them out too.
I will say the beef sandwiches were not the greatest, bread was smashed & they didn't look very appealing. Edible but we've had better from them.

Too much wet moisture weight of items for bags, ALWAYS busting open at bottom and sides !! Separate the order a little more into another bag, please. Good hearty size Italian Beef sandwich.

we ordered gyro sandwich and tamales. the gyros were very good put the tamales were disgusting. we ordered later than we usually do but that is not an excuse to serve old dried out food.

Its hard to rate this place. Back in the late 90s, early 2000s, this place was flipping amazing. Best hot dogs, period in all of Crystal Lake. Over the decades and as they expanded, the hot dogs remained pretty great, but then one day, they changed them. They are now not a delicious as they used to be in Woodstock and Crystal Lake. McHenry never had the good hot dogs.
They are a solid place for food and you should try other stuff than their hot dogs. Doesn't matter which one you go to the recipe the changed.
