Oh WOW! I've been searching for 4 years for a really good burger place in the Riverside area since I moved here in 2019, and everything has come up short of my high expectations. I'm a former chef, LOL. Tom's Jr hit the spot! I had the double cheeseburger, bean and cheese burrito, and chili cheese fries. The burger meat was so delicious that the taste was clearly superior over other restaurants. The other ingredients were high quality and fresh. Every bite was the way I like my burgers to taste. I know the pics I included make the burger look a little smashed, but the driver did have to drive 5.1 miles to get it to me, so that's a good excuse. But everything was still hot when it arrived. The bean and cheese burrito was of average size. Ive had bigger and smaller of course. The beans and cheese were nice and thick! Not at all loose and runny like other places. I could have a few bites into it, turn it bite-side down, and nothing would fall out. Just the way it should be! The flavor was absolutely perfect. The chili cheese fries were exquisite. Just like the burrito, the chili and cheese were thick and flavorful. As I opened the carton, some of the chili got on my finger and I licked it off. Suddenly I was surprised at how creamy, cheesy and perfectly flavored it was. Diving into it like a ravenous wolf proved that it did not disappoint! I added two pics of this, one from the carton, one from my bowl after I mixed it together with the ranch sauce they included (also yummy) and Tapatio. Very few restaurants have done my favorite junk food meal (this order combination) as well as Tom's Jr at 2775 Hamner, Norco, CA, did. Only 4 others have done it justice, and those are: Golden Ox (? Greenleaf Ave @ Historic Uptown, Whittier, my all time favorite, now closed 😭) Hercules Burgers (3221 E Chapman Ave, Orange), Fred's Downhome Burgers (2524 W Slauson Ave, Los Angeles), and Dino's (2817 Main St, Los Angeles). I added these for comparison and for you readers to check out if you're in those areas. I've made some other reviews for local restaurants of this type, and you'll see they didn't do very well. I've done some reviews on Yelp and Postmates too, and you'll see my ratings there. Tom's Jr gave me my faith back in Riverside area burger joints, when every other one left me very disappointed. Well done, Tom's. You've now got a loyal customer!
