Lunchbox Smothered Pork Chop was fantastic! Tender and juicy! Greens were perfect. Honestly...all of the sides are 🔥. lunch Lunchbox Special 2pc was awesome as well. a little of everything. For $11 it's a steal. we are definitely recommending and coming back for more.

I'm sure the food would be much tastier if it were fresh. The wings are a good size cooked well. Flavor legit. The red snapper was a little bit salty. I prefer catfish but wanted to see how the snapper was. May order cat next time. The brussel sprouts burnt well but it's that mayo and oil that turned me off from eating them. Maybe on the side?

Touch of Soul – A Missed Opportunity for Flavor
I had high hopes for *Touch of Soul* on Market Street, but unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. With a name that promises rich, comforting flavors, the food surprisingly lacked the depth and seasoning that defines true soul food.
The shrimp tasted as if they had been sitting in water for too long, diluting any potential flavor. The red snapper, while cooked through, was dry and under-seasoned, making it difficult to enjoy. Even the fried chicken, which should be a standout, was missing the crispy, well-seasoned punch that makes Southern-style chicken irresistible.
The greens, typically a staple of soul food, didn’t hold up either. Not even a dash of hot sauce could bring them to life. Overall, the meal felt like it needed a stronger hand in the kitchen—one that embraces bold seasoning and authentic soul food techniques.
I really wanted to love this place, but for now, it's a no.
