I absolutely love Ultimate Grounds! My spouse and I go here almost every morning. The staff are sooo nice and the sandwiches, coffees and smoothies are the best.

My absolute favorite local coffee shop! They serve Mr. Espresso beans, which are roasted here in Oakland. (Not Mr. Coffee, which is a brand of home-brewing machines.) Every week or so, I order a pound of beans and treat myself to a mocha and some food items. Every single item I've purchased has been delicious. I usually get the Bolivian beans, but I will mix it up sometimes. The mocha is stunning - every week, I drink mine too quickly bc it's just too delicious! I usually get my sandwiches on baguettes, which are fantastic. Honestly, this is one of my favorite local businesses period.
