Always delicious. Everyone loves the Sicilian Pie, thick slices. Margherita Pie is great if you want something a bit lighter. There's always plenty of sauce on the side for the Chicken Roll . Everything is always fresh.

Disgusting. 5 shrimp soaked in oil/breadcrumb, with half a potato that resembles 3 French fries. If you're not capable of cooking seafood dishes or even providing a substanial meal then dont offer it on your menu. Granted it was delivered to my house 7 min away but I couldnt imagine it tasting any better if I ate it there.

the food was delicious as always, but for $28 we expected a side of pasta or salad with the chicken parm meals. that's a lot of money for 2 pieces of chicken!

Ordered Sicilian slice from them today. They took one Sicilian slice and cut it into two. The portion is half of what it should look like. Very disappointing. I was craving for pizza and received this.

Disappointed by a Cold and Uncheesy Experience at Umberto’s
I recently ordered a Neapolitan Pie pie from Umberto’s in New Hyde Park, and unfortunately, the experience left me genuinely disappointed. The pie arrived cold and tasted noticeably stale—as though it had been prepared long before it reached the oven, let alone my plate.
I specifically asked for extra cheese, hoping to indulge in the signature creamy richness that sets great pizza apart. Instead, what I received was a thick, solid sheet that felt more like rubber than mozzarella. There was no melt, no pull—just a heavy, bland topping that overwhelmed rather than elevated the pie.
Umberto has a long-standing reputation, and I hope this review encourages the team to revisit quality control and freshness. Attention to texture, temperature, and flavor is what keeps loyal patrons coming back. I’d love to see this spot live up to its legacy with consistency and care.
