This is a large oxtail. The meat was very tender, the rice and peas had a nice texture and you can tadt the coconut milk!. The cabbage had a nice crunch and not soggy. I will definitely order from here again!

If u have never tried jamaican food... UNCLE BENS is the one u want to try first. My go to is the Chicken plate. I get jerk chicken over rice & peas with steam veg & oxtail gravy over everything. The chicken is always right ! great flavor, never dry always juicy & the staff are great even giving me a personal happy new years message on my order bag !

When I tell you that this is hands down the best restaurant stew peas I've had apart from Benjies in Hartford. The customer service was on point. I called because I was having trouble ordering through the app. The host was so courteous she even sent a note and a free soda to make up for something that wasn't even their fault. I really appreciate the great service I received.

The red bean soup was tasty and filling. The large was more than enough for 3 people. The oxtail dinner was also flavorful; the gravy was well seasoned and the vegetables were tender with a pleasant bit of crunch. I enjoyed my dinner and will patronize again.

Didnt get Pasta with my food & gave 5 oxtails for a medium. Flavors are present but quantity not worth it
