Really large servings of 8. Steak Pho (Pho Tai) and the 18. Van Loi Special (Bun Bo Hue with Thit Bo, Heo & Cha). The special had a delico and semi spicy broth.
Got both the grilled chicken and the shrimp/tofu in the 4. Fresh Spring Rolls (Thit Nuong / Ga Nuong) and 2. Fresh Spring Rolls (Goi Cuon) and both were very fresh. The tofu and shrimp was a perfect combination.
Went with all the popular suggestions and none disappointed.

Van Loi has been my favorite restaurant for years, the food is always fresh and the quality is always consistent. You can't go wrong with #34 - it's easily my favorite meal on Earth. I always order two so I can have it for several meals. So dang good!

Veggie 2. Fresh Spring Rolls (Goi Cuon) were just plain lettuce and watered down peanut sauce. I miss real Vietnamese restaurants from other states. The food here tastes all the same, the meat too was very similar to mo bettas taste. Probably all sourcing from the same vendors. The beef 15. Steak, Brisket, Flank Pho (Pho Tai, Chin, Nam) was aromatic and flavorful and had appropriate toppings.

I wanted some spicy soup and I ordered 18. Van Loi Special (Bun Bo Hue with Thit Bo, Heo & Cha) . I wasn't sure what would be in it, but it was delicious. It had beef, pork, noodles, a lime wedge, a chili pepper, and also lettuce. The soup broth and the fixings came separate. The broth was just the right amount of spiciness for me. The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think shredded cabbage would have been better than lettuce in the soup.
The portion size was very generous!
I will order it again.

I always order from this place. Great food, excellent quality, amazing price, and large servings. I refuse to buy from any other pho place in my area.
