• DoorDash orderThe Beef Pupusas, Beef Tongue Tacos and Beef Tongue Tostadas were all incredible. Vargas always has amazing food with great portions and prices. I feel so lucky to have an authentic Mexican restaurant with such delicious food nearby. Vargas never disappoints.

• DoorDash orderBeing a Mexican from the west coast who hasnt been able to find a good Mexican spot i can say I finally found my place! The rice beans tortillas and salsas are authentic. The Garlic Shrimp was tasty, the Chicken Quesadilla was bomb + big it fed myself and 2 kids, and the Marinated Chicken Tostada was so delish

• DoorDash reviewHands down the best Mexican in the area. Everything on the menu is fantastic, but I have a hard time ordering anything other than the tacos and tortas. The lengua and cabeza are to die for. All ingredients are incredibly fresh and flavorful, like ordering from an amazing taco truck, even the taco truck price. An unbeatable value.

• DoorDash orderIn a city with a few really solid Mexican food options, Vargas is simply the best. Their tacos are amazing, particularly the Beef Tongue Tacos if that's your kind of thing and the carnitas and others are incredible as well. You can't go wrong with the tortas and quesadillas as well. In fact, everything I've had from Vargas has been fantastic. Amazing, authentic Mexican here in Essex. It's really hard to beat that. The food here is just mouth watering. Support this restaurant!
