Shrimp Florentine was awful. The pasta was overcooked and mushy and drenched in Alfredo sauce. They also did not follow my instructions to replace the fettuccine noodles with linguine. The garlic cheese bread was bland and not worth the $7-8 it cost.

I ordered the Baked Ziti with meatballs added to it. I received something that vague resembles what baked ziti is supposed to be. The pasta was good. It was very watery. The sliver of cheese that was put on top seemed like it melted due to the heat of the food, not an oven. The meatballs were undercooked and a little raw in the middle. The order seemed to be prepared in a rush, considering the fact that it was handed to the delivery driver no more than 8 minutes after ordering. I don't mind a wait. I just expect good and accurate food, or I would have ordered fast food...

Verona's Baked Ziti is fantastic! One of the few places in the area that uses ricotta cheese in it- and it's the right amount of ricotta too! Tastes just like back home- good ol' Long Island italian ziti. It's great comfort food too! ♥︎
My SO gets the Chicken Parmigiana Sub from here and considers it one of the better places for chicken parm in the area!
Verona also has delicious garlic bread which they've been giving us generous helpings of lately!

We discovered this restaurant a few months ago after living right around the corner for quite a while. The food is excellent, the desserts fantastic! We've tried many of the specialty pasta dishes and especially love the Sausage and Peppers Pasta. This place is BYOB so be sure to bring a bottle of your favorite vino.
