Normally, the Breakfast Baconator™ Combo is really good, but today was not the case. My seasoned potatoes were slightly overcooked and excessively seasoned. I had to pick apart my sandwich because, after the first bite, it made me nauseous.
The sausage patty—the main component of the sandwich—was burnt to the point of being black. I’m sure we can all agree that a sausage patty should not be black and crispy. The fact that the cooks even served it is upsetting. I tried eating the sandwich without the patty, but even the bacon was undercooked. On top of that, the bacon placement was chaotic, with one long piece awkwardly sitting on top of the bun.
I didn’t take pictures because I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt—maybe today was just a bad day. I also didn’t want to risk discouraging those who usually enjoy the Breakfast Baconator™ Combo or make the cooks feel worse. However, Wendy’s, I have to say I’m very disappointed.
