The Whole Hog Cafe evolved from “a hobby that got out of hand.” When Whole Hog founders Mike “Sarge” Davis, Ron Blasingame, and Steve Lucchi entered the 2000 Memphis-in-May World Championship Barbecue…
Whole Hog has a great variety of smoked and barbecued meats. You can't go wrong with a Hog Platter or the pulled pork sandwich. The Smoked Sausage - 1 Lb is a favorite at my house. We also love the sauces- each one is unique and delicious!

I travel for a living, I'm from North Carolina. I love Lexington (NC) style BBQ and I love ribs.
These ribs were better than the rbs from St. Louis! Pulled pork is just as good and smoky as NC! And the smoked turkey was the best turkey I have ever had! Ever! The greens were amazing too!
Highly recommend this palce! (Im in town for 4 nights and ill probably order again lol)

Pulled pork was dry, burnt and skimpy. Baked beans were awful. Used to be a big fan, but past couple of orders have not been disappointing, especially, for the price. Will not be ordering from here again. Switching to Count Porkula!

while the meat was tender and there was a lot of it, there was no bbq sauce on it and not much flavor. the nachos were all on one side with the cheese spilling out of the container. Cole slaw was fresh but had a spiciness to it. I didn't care for it due to the spice. sweet tea was not sweet tea like you would expect in the south. I was disappointed because I heard such good things about this place. I will give them another try, but in the restaurant where I'll have a little more control. price was good for the nachos, but $3 for the tiny container of slaw really isn't worth it.

We usually love Whole Hog but the chopped brisket was almost inedible tonight. Nearly all of it was the outer layer of fat. I get it needs to be fatty for flavor but huge chunks of fat were in the to go box and once we picked through them had less than 1/3 of the brisket left
