Food was good but very small portions! my partner and I ordered 4 sushi rolls and two orders of dumplings and it all got into 3 very small to go containers. The dumplings only had 3-4 pieces per order and the sushi rolls were the tiniest I've seen! ;_;

Everything was honestly bad to the point I thought I might have gotten mixed up as I’ve ordered from here before and it was fine. But the portions were all tiny and the taste was bland. The xiao long bao (soup dumplings) were literally 3 for $10 + tax, the dan dan noodle did not taste like any dan dan I’ve ever had (no sesame/peanut whatsoever) with gristly chewy beef pieces, the flat tofu noodle was flavorless and the karaage was mid. Everything also arrived cold. Probably one of the worst DoorDash orders I’ve had this year.

I rarely leave reviews, but this was the tiniest freakin sushi roll I've ever seen and still charged over $16 for a "full" roll (btw the initial price you see is for a "half" roll, they charge you about $3.50 more for "full"). I had the Golden Trio Roll. I love salmon, but the fish was somehow kinda bland, didn't taste fresh, and the rice was undercooked, chewy, and nearly flavorless.

My family loves this place. We order soup from here waaaay too often, every friend I've taken also loves it. Sushi is fresh, noodle soups are delicious and a great texture, broth is seasoned perfectly. Even the "little noodle" for kids is seasoned so well, and pretty big portions. My kids love it and love to save some broth to eat with noodles and fried eggs the next day. My only complaints would be less cilantro in some of the soups, and more sides of chili oil because it is such a good liquid seasoning to add that boosts the overall flavor of the broth! There's usually a lot of broth leftover and we like to save it and cook mung bean vermicelli noodles in it at home. So good!

It needs to be said. Xian has the most fire dan dan noodles in this city. They may not be super traditional as they are more of a soup style, but the flavors are all very on point down to the pickled mustard. This is the one! The Takoyaki and pork dumplings are legit as well.
