At Yama, the owner and the wait staff are awesome! Attentive service, clean tables & store, everything handmade fresh. Couldn't be happier. I'm waiting for a Senior Discount to make the experience even better. ;D

I rarely complain and this was the second time ordering from them. First time was great so that's why I went to them again. The yellow tail was horrible. It was extreamly chewy and red. Very strange. Also disappointed because the first time we ordered they gave us a little ginger and wasabi. But there wasn't that nor chop sticks or napkins. Sorry maybe a bad night but too expensive for this.

From being one of the few restaurants in Fallbrook, they're always my go to place. I haven't tried out the Cherry Blossom Roll or the Golden Tiger. The Cherry Blossom Roll was good but be careful with the amount of Ponzu as it'll make the roll soggy and break apart. Aside from that, the roll was really good and pops with lots of different flavors. 9/10 Golden Tiger was an easy to eat roll. The cream cheese was slightly melted but I feel like that added more flavor to the whole roll. 8/10
