Kashke bademjoon tasted old. Not freshly made. A large scoop of mint was dumped on the top. Food did mot look appealing.

I think a lot of the non-Persian customers don't appreciate what's considered delicious in Persian cuisine because they have a different taste or palate. All the dishes here are quite authentic and according to Persian's ideas of how their food ought to be prepared. Zeitun has always managed to deliver consistent quality and flavour in their dishes which is quite an achievement considering that Persian dishes require time and and effort to prepare.
