The Edamame is flavorful and delicious! Our favorite dish, however is the Orange tofu. The Orange sauce is so light, incredibly flavorful and so delicious! We like to spread the sauce over our rice. Highly recommended restaurant, too! The owners are super nice and lovely!

Overall the food was very well made and delicious. Tasted very quality. Asian Riblets had a nice glaze and were tender. The Beef Egg Roll (1) was decently filled and tasted very traditional. I will say though the portions where a bit disappointing for the price especially the Beef Egg Roll (1). Potential to be a daily eats spot but instead an occasional treat.

I've order from Zen a few times now and it's usually pretty good but the price has gone up a lot and this is the worst ive had from them.
My shrimp was overcooked and rubbery, my salmon nigiri was 2 little slivers of fish over a laughable small amount of rice. My previous orders of nigiri were at AT LEAST twice the size of these ones. The after hour rolls were rolled so poorly they just fell apart and looked unappetizing.
The prices have gone up and the quality has gone way down.

Best Asian restaurant in San Diego. Love the fried house rice and the riblets are juicy and sweet delicious. The beef egg rolls are just fabulous.
