Jong Ga House is one of my absolute favorites in Oakland. Heartwarming delicious food. Some of my fave dishes are the steamed sliced pork and spicy cold buckwheat noodle soup. Portions are also big and meant for sharing :)

Side banchan is generous but not very flavorful. Translates into the bibimbap.
Soy garlic chicken packaging isn't conducive to fried chicken, essentially got steamed inside the container so breading on the chicken became soaked and completely soggy.
I would eat inside restaurant but not get deivery again!

The No.114 Spicy Tofu Soup is soooo good. I love the Korean appetizers that come with it, as well as rice & a whole soft cooked egg in the soup. It always arrives hot and nicely wrapped. 5 plus stars :)

Their portions are always generous. They give you the full stack of banchan. The quality of the food is good, not the best - but I think for the value, compared to the price of other korean restaurants very solid.

I love Jong Ga with all my my heart! A night ordered from here is a great night. I love the Dol Sot Bi Bim Bap, spicy tofu soup and Kimchi pancake. The No.62 Spicy Cold Buckwheat Noodles are a good dish to share
